Dear POP Supporter:

 

We thank you for your support of the Peruvian Outreach Project (POP) and are glad you are part of our POP family. The children and young adults of Tarapoto and Trujillo in Peru have better futures because of you. Though our mission has always been an international one, we recently were granted funds from a local non-profit (FANA) that does work in South America as well but also works locally. These granted funds must be used locally. We thought it would be a good idea to support those who have supported our group and made its work possible. We also want to mirror the work of POP in Peru where our projects focus on healthcare, childcare, and education. Therefore, we are offering Peruvian Outreach Project Scholarships; in 2025, we are offering five $500.00 scholarships.

If you or a family member meet the following application criteria, we encourage you to apply for one of our scholarships.

​Application Criteria 

The individual or family must: 

• Be a POP supporter.

• Be starting or continuing a career in a health, child care, or education field. 

• Complete a written essay. The prompt is in the document.

• Provide a reference.

• Complete an application form.

• Be​ graduating from WNY high school or be a WNY resident attending a post-secondary program.

• Submit a completed application packet, including an application form, a reference, and an essay together in one application submission that must be received BEFORE Friday, May 16th, 2025. Application packets received on May 16th or later will be disposed of and unopened. The completed packet must be emailed as attachments together to info@wnypop.org. or mailed in hard copy form to:
