The Children's Center for Integrated Services

The Children’s Center for Integrated Services (CCIS) in Trujillo, Peru, identifies and supports underserved children with disabilities, primarily autism. In Peru, only about 1% of children with special needs receive adequate services. The Peruvian Outreach Project is grateful for the opportunity to provide financial support to grow the reach of this organization.

Opened in early 2025 and run by experienced therapists and psychologists, the goals of CCIS are to provide comprehensive therapeutic and educational support aimed at improving the well-being of children and their families, including:

  • Providing early evaluation and identification of children with learning disabilities.

  • Providing integrated support with learning disabilities  (speech, occupational, and behavioral services, educational support).

  • Training families and teachers to work with children with learning disabilities.

  • Providing disability awareness campaigns to increase the social acceptance of people with learning disabilities in the local community.
